Hello Friends! Just dropping by to say today is my 1 year rebirthday!! I am down 112 pounds and into a size 12 clothes (from a size 22/24) I am literally half the person I use to be, size wise anyways. Just wanted to drop a line to celebrate this very special day to me! Thanks for all the support. This site is great!

Hi fellow WLSers! I hope all is well for everyone. Just dropping by with some great news... As of April 9th (8 months post op) I have officially lost 100 POUNDS!! I am so siked. I could not wait for this day and it is finally here. I have went from a size 24 to a size 12- I am half the person I use to be! ;-p Life is great and keeps getting better. My 6 month checkup bloodwork was excellant, my yearly PCP physical was perfect (no more high BP or high BS) and even my GYN yearly was normal for the first time in 8 years! I stay busy and have the energy to keep up with my kids, occasionally wearing them out- can you believe it?? I know I can't. Anyway, wherever you are in this WLS journey my thoughts and prayers are with you. For anyone with family serving our country in the military our best wishes and prayers for a safe return are with you and them. God bless our country, our President, and our soldiers! Peace to all!

Spole w/Tanya's husb on Mon. She was sleeping. He said that she has lost approx. 50 lbs., but is still battling those darn migraines.

Tanya, I also suffer from Migraines.. I know how painful they can be. I pray yours goes away for a very long time soon and you recover and get back on track with weight loss! May God wrap his healing hands around you and you find comfort in knowing this too shall pass and all will be well again. Tami

hey there. just wanted you to know i am sending healing energy your way. i also have migraines and i know how awful they can be. my thoughts are with you and i hope you feel better soon! blessed be~
