Hi Tanya, Hope you are feeling better... and can go home soon, overall sounds like you are doing really well! Well it is behind you now... now starts the rest of your life! I am so excited for you. I have my surgery Friday 7/19... I'll look for you next week... take care, be well, Jen

Unfortunately Tanya didn't get to go home today after all. She is doing fine in terms of her surgery, but hasn't felt all that well in general. She suffers from migraines, and a combination of things (stress!, surgery, diet change, period, etc.) has set one off, and she is trying to get it under control. In addition, she has been rather bloated and uncomfortable. She is ready go get home to her bed, but is better off in the hospital so she can have the appropriate medication. Hopefully she will go home tomorrow, so please visit her page and send her some well wishes for her homecoming.

Tanya, I am so happy to hear that you are doing so well. I am thrilled to hear you are up and about. It won't be long before we can go out to dinner again and we can compare scars. Just kidding. Tanya is doing fantastic. I'm updating for her angel, Patricia Whitley, who can't get to a computer this week. Patricia and I went to see her at the hospital last night and she was up walking those halls, standing upright! She is drinking a lot, getting her liquid in. She may get to go home today if all goes well. Let's give her a warm homecoming, everyone, and wish her well on her journey!

Tanya had her surgery yesterday afternoon and did great! She is in her room (423) and I spoke with her this morning. She has been up walking three or four times since getting in her room (after 7 last night), and has her NG tube out. She drank some water this morning, after waking with cotton mouth and was happy for that. She is going through the usual un-comfies of being in that hospital bed, but sounds wonderful. Let's all give her positive support for her recovery and wish her well!
