It is 8 am in Alabama and I just talked to Charlotte's sister. They started her surgery about 7:10 this morning so she is surgery as I type this...please say a prayer for her and her surgeon, Dr. Clements...will update when I hear some news...Have a great day, Renee

I am new to this site and still finding my way around, but want everyone to know that a very sweet lady and my first wls friend(we met at the surgeons office at our first visit)is having her surgery tomorrow at UAB in Birmingham, AL. Her name is Charlotte Goode and I am her unofficial angel and will be keeping you posted on her progress. She is leaving early Tuesday morning for the hospital so please go by her page and wish her well. I know she will appreciate all the support from her wls friends. This is a wonderful website and thanks to all of you, I am much more educated and informed on all the pros and cons and so ready for this dream to become a reality. Charlotte, I wish you the best on your upcoming big day!!! You will do just fine. When it's over you will be soooo happy that you have done it---you are in my prayers
