Hi Brigitte, I am a newcomer also and went to my first support meeting with Dr. Roe and Dawn the same night you did, 1/30/02. Sorry, I did not meet you. Keep the faith and my God be with you. Brigitte, I will keep you in my prayers. Read as much information about post op WLS and follow Dr. Roe's instructions regarding nutrition/hydration and you will be fine. I am post op 12/4/01 (Dr.Roe)this is by far the best health decision I have ever made. I pray that you will have a speedy uneventful surgery & recovery! "CHANGE IS A PROCESS NOT AN EVENT"

Hi Brigitte! You'll have to forgive me for spelling your name wrong in my message to Susan. I didn't get a chance to meet you personally at the support group meeting Wednesday night but I will be thinking of you next week while you have your surgery. My surgery is in 4 days and I am experiencing lots of anxiety. I suppose this is normal. I want to personally thank Susan Wilson for introducing herself at the Support Group. She and I have the same day scheduled for the surgery -- I go first. We will burn up the halls of GSH in no time. Best wishes to everyone who has had this surgery and to those of you who will follow. I cannot be Brigitte's official angel, because we are SURGERY BUDDIES!!! I had the definite pleasure of meeting Brigitte at our support group meeting last night. I would appreciate it if we could pull together and show her our support. BRIGITTE-- I WILL SEE YOU WALKING THE HALLS OF GOOD SAM!!!! I KNOW THAT WE WILL BOTH DO VERY WELL!!
