Just wanted to check in and thank everyone again and let you all know my surgery Oct 1, went great! There is no way I can catch up to each one of you individually. What a wonderful skillful doctor Dr. Champion is, he and his office reek of professionalism. I couldn’t have asked for the hospital to be any better either. I had a room on the ground floor with a nice big window overlooking a park like setting, it was very relaxing. I know I sound like I went to a spa, well to tell the truth I’ve had workouts that have hurt more. I have no problem keeping anything down, I’m using a baby spoon to eat with, and a custard cup for a soup bowl. I also got me a adult sippy cup for my protein drinks. I got those at the dollar store. I’m not tired of the food yet since I’m really not hungry at all. I really have to work at eating and drinking. Not much flat land in the mountains for walking, so I’m walking up and down the driveway. That way I don’t even have to dress, what a deal. I hope and pray that all those having surgery can have it be as uneventful and easy as mine. What a way to start this wonderful trip to better health.

Daughter angel fly in for a report :) Mom (Cookie) had her surgery this morning with Dr. Champion. She was first up to bat at 7:30 am. Everything appears to be good and she is now restng in her room. HOORAY Mom and welcome to your new and healthier life. Cheryl LAP RNY 17 weeks -81lbs.
