At this rate, I might not even have a voice left (as my hubby celebrates in the back ground?) ..if that is the case, then Paul will call for me and I'll update ya'll via the keyboard.

Our prayers, thoughts and best wishes are with you Glenn for a speedy and uneventful surgery. Glenn good luck on your up coming surgery. I was reading your posting and you are on the right track. If we have God on our side he will see us through what ever we need him to. I was like you I had my surgery on 10-4-02 and I was not scared I just knew the risk I was taking and used wisdom and knowledge to prepare my family and Co Workers in case something did happen that they knew I had made a great exchange. Never the less everything went great with my surgery and I am at home letting my belly heal and learn to eat right. Be sure you get off of Calfine before your surgery without your doctor will let you have calfine. I had BAD BAD headaches and the nurse said it was calfine withdrawl. When someone trys to scare you into not having the surgery that you might not make it let me tell you a little story that will help you. I had my surgery and done great I was on my way back to the Dr to get my staples took out and a lady went sleep driving and was headed straigh into our Car my sister was driving and went out of the road to keep her from hitting us and we turned around in the road 3 or 4 times and ended up about 1 foot from a solid rock wall but did not get a scrath on us or either car. I felt God had a angel with us. He will not take you until your time comes so enjoy your family and be happy that God has gave the doctor the talent to help us. I don't know why I wrote all this but I felt you might need to hear it.
