Hi, I am also a patient of Dr. A, and have to tell you that you have made a wonderful choice, he is an EXCELLENT Dr. I could not have asked for a better dr. He will do a great job, you can count on it. I am 4 weeks post op at this point, and happier than I have ever been, I realised today that I properly fit into my chair at work YAY! Audrey, I found this website very calming when I was pre-op. Also, the confidence I had in my surgeon was of #1 importance. I love that man and I love what wls has done for me. Though I had no health issues as an obese person, I am certain it was only a matter of time before they developed. I think the emotional aspects of being obese were worse than I even allowed myself to believe. Now that I am no longer overweight I can not believe how happy and free I feel. Getting dressed in the morning and trips to the mall are no longer dredded tasks. No more bumping into old friends and knowing they are thinking "Wow, she's put on more weight!". I no longer cringe at the image of myself in the mirror or photographs. As a matter of fact, I think I'm one hot lady and my hubby is luck to have me! I'm so excited for you and I wish you all the best!
