"My first impression of Dr. Dyer was a positive one. I work in the medical field, and I have only heard good things about Dr. Dyer. I had to have my gallbladder out because I was symptomatic. I was trying to wait and do the gastroplasty & gallbladder at the same time. I have learned that even though Dr. Dyer is quiet, he is highly competent and compassionate as well. The staff at Cumberland Surgical are nice, but they began doing the WLS in Jan. or Feb. 2001. They have been bombarded and overwhelmed w/ the response. Dr. Dyer has been a surgeon for 20 plus years specializing in laproscopy. He has received training to perform the rou n y and began performing the procedure in Feb. 2001. Dr Dyer stresses the importance of participation in the support group and being diligent with your diet & nutrition. Overall I am very comfortable with his surgical competence and his bedside manner. This has been my personal experience with Dr. Dyer and I do not have any affiliation with Dr.Dyer or Cumberland Surgical!"
