Hey Arizona. What a cool name. I used to live in AZ in the early ninties, loved it. Anyway, just wanted to take a second to wish you luck as you prepare to begin a new and wonderful life!! Please take good care of yourself and keep us updated as to your progress. And when you get to the "What the heck have I done to myself" stage after surgery, send me an e-mail and I'll talk ya through it!! HUGS!!

Hey Arizona! You are on your way!! I know this is a scary and exciting time for you. You are going to do just fine!!! Just think, You are starting a journey that only a few travel. You should be very proud of yourself. I am proud of you!!!! Think of some of the new things you will be able to do like take a long bike rides, get on a amusement park ride and not worry if you will fit in the seat, cross your legs, get on an airplane and not worry about asking for an extension and the best of all have the energy to do these things!!! Everything will be just fine and know this you have a wonderful group of people here to help you meet your needs. The best of luck on your surgery with a speedy and healthy recovery!! I have 28 DAYS and a wake-up!!!!! Time is going by so fast!!! Seems as if yesterday I was complaining I had 5 months until surgery. I cannot wait to be on the otherside. This is a dream come true. Happy New Year!! Arizona

I wish you luck and best wishes on your big day! We can celebrate our new "birthday" months together from now on!! My open RNY is also in January, 01/13/2003 in Indiana. God bless you and hope you have a speedy recovery and speedy weight loss!

Hi Mary Lynn :) I just wanted to congratulate you on your uncoming surgery and to wish you the best. I am in Phoenix and am having surgery 1/14/03 with Dr. Juarez. I am hoping to have Lap RNY. We are the same age and very close to the same weight. I also have two daughters, and two sons as well.
