hello everyone, sorry i havent updated, been tired. but other then that im doing great. keeping soft, mushy food down with no problems. trying to get 50grams of protein but thats not going well since my tast buds have changed, the protien powders which i liked pre-op i cant stand the thought of drinking, they taste so bad now. hoping to talk to doctor about a protien pill. the pain has improved everday, by the time i got home i didnt have to talk any pain medication. (friday surgery and home on monday) every thing went great with surgery and my hospital stay went smooth. everyone was kind and helpful. also having sharon (she had the same surgery the same day with the same doctor) to share the experience with was comforting. her smiling, friendly personaility made it easier. ----- i will update more soon. but im doing and feeling great. everday got better and i keeped that in mind during the painful and hard times i had. but all in all it was less scary and painful then i had built it up to be. lucky...lol. this is only the beginning , and im looking forward to my new future. hey everyone ive lost 15lbs in a week!!! thank you all again for your emails and post. Hey Jennifer, I don't see any updates on your page. I hope you are doing well. I am getting along , slowly, but getting still getting along. I still have alot of pain. I'm not sure if it is from the WLS or the other things I had done. I hope to hear from you soon.

Hey Jen, I just wanted to wish you well. I too share this date. I am glad that you and Sharon will be together. I am a little jealous about the lap procedure, but I am just as thrilled just the same. I hope we can all get together and celebrate. Perhaps over some cream of wheat or small, I mean very small serving of Mash . (LOL) Good Luck!
