Your weight loss is wonderful! Keep up the good work! I know what you mean about the gout. I have had it in one of my feet and it is so painful! Here is my motto: sip sip sip water all day long! I am a good friend of Sandra's, and she asked me to give all of you an update, and told me tonight 2/3/02 that she has lost 16 lbs. It is the 4th day after surgery and she is not having to use the "pain pump" very much at all. When I left the hospital, she was resting comfortably. During the surgery, she had a hernia that was much bigger than the drs. expected, so that was repaired, plus, her gallbladder had stones in it, so they removed that also. Gosh, Sandra, should feel remarkably better now? She may get to go home Tues. She wanted me to tell ya'll that she ate steak tonight for dinner, and it was wonderful, and it was great having to chew, chew, & chew! I went to see Sandra today at Medical City and she is in good spirits. She had vistors and she was feeling well. It was really hard to believe that she had just had WLS or any type of surgery for that matter a few days ago. I was so shocked at how well she was feeling. She was smiling and lughing and having so much fun. It was my first time meeting her and she is such a sweet and charming woman. I was so happy for her.
