Hey Karen ~ Greetings from the not so frozen north... BIG HUGS FOR YOU!!! {{{{{{HHUUGGSS}}}}}} I'm so sorry to hear about you and your hubbies predicament. Times like this are very scary no matter what your health/weight issues are. I hope that you don't have to go back on the meds but you might want to consider if for the short term. Nothing wrong with needing a little help! Take care girl and I hope you're feeling better soon!

Hi, Karen: Just wanted to post that I'm so sorry about the trouble you and your family are having right now. It may be a wise idea to go back on the anti-depressants at least temporarily. I am one of those unfortunate ones who will probably be on them for life due to a hormone imbalance. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I'm praying for you, and hopefully your hubby will find work quickly. Good luck, and God Bless!

Hi Karen :) Sweetie, I can totally understand where you are coming from, and I thank you for posting your gentle reminder for everyone to read. Yes, LOTS and LOTS of people here offering support. I too have been very active, yet few have posted to my page. I just keep figuring that I am doing this to help people, not to be part of the "in" crowd. I will be keeping you and your hubby in my prayers that all works out for you. Sending hugs, Caroline

Karen, you are a vital part of this site. You are always there when someone needs a kind word. You open your home and your heart to your sisters and brothers. I am sorry if you feel left out or unappreciated but please please know that you are treasured. You are truly a precious gem. I am one among hundreds who are praying for your situation to improve. Take care of yourself and your wonderful hubby.

Hi Karen...I'm sorry your family has fallen on hard times in this horrible economy...and just after recovering from a 9-month layoff. It must be truly difficult. I pray things will be brighter for you, and in a rapid way. Thank you for all YOU do on the boards and in your own quiet way...you are an excellent support person on AMOS, always have been as long as I have known you. I have added you and your family to my daily prayers. Love and hugs, Joy xo

karen know that you are not alone.. I personally am more of a loner so not being singled out doesnt bother me, but I can understand your feelings.. I pray that things look up for your family with the lay offs.. Just take a few deep breaths and remember that God is in control of your life and he will prevail.. Love you sweetie and dont ever give up, you have come to far to give up now.. hold on to your faith as you held on to get the surgery...

Karen, I'm so sorry about your problems. I hope things are looking up for you and your family soon. I understand your words completely and can only say, Amen to all you wrote. I read the boards, try to offer support privately, and gain support from the wisdom of people like you and Pam G. and Nadine and others. I just skip over the endless greetings to "special friends" and try to understand their need to do that. But thanks for saying what I was feeling myself. It's nice to know I'm not alone, and neither are you.

Karen, sorry you're feeling left out. I regularly read your posts, and appreciate your participation. However, I rarely say so to any posters. I take in what people say, try to see how their experiences relate to mine, and learn what I can. I do appreciate that a number of people put themselves out there for the benefit of the rest of us. Why some receive more public recognition for it, I can't say. But, your contributions are important, and valuable. Keep on keepin' on.
