heloo everyone,i can not thank you all enough for your kind words and your encouragement,they have meant so much to me.i want you to know that i did not have surgery on nov 20th as planned because i was canceled for still smoking. since then i have quit and i have a new surgeon!woohoo" for me! thanks to your helpfull tips on how to quit sucessfully i have made it.please continue to support me as i make this journey i need each and every one of you.i have a false date that i dont know how to change on here but i will post with my new date as soon as i get one,sorry about any confusion i might have caused..hugs" kathy L

Hi Kathy, Just a quick note...I tried sending you one, from Joyce L. page, but, guess it didn't go thru. I'm not real familiar with the way these posts go, so, I'm trying from YOUR page. Joyce left the 15th, so I'm not sure she got your post. I wanted to let you know, I'll be talking with her tomorrow..and I'll sure tell her you said she was and 'amazing woman'. You are right!!! She it!!! I've been a good friend of hers for over 8 years, and she truly is an 'amazing woman'. I'll let her know about your post, because she sure can use the support, for her surgery date of 10-21. She had her Greenfield Filter put in 10-16, and had no problem. A little sore neck, but, she is so upbeat and READY FOR HER SURGERY! Now, I must add....I don't even know you, but, you've been a support for Joyce, and I do want to tell you, I admire your courage. Don't undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others, It is because we are different that each of us is special. Don't set your goals by what other people deem important, Only you know what is best for you. Don't take for granted the things closest to your heart Cling to that as you would your life, for without them life is meaningless. Don't let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past or the future. By living your life one day at a time, you live all the days of your life. Don't give up when you still have something to give Nothing is really over … until the moment you stop trying. Don't be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect, It is the fragile thread that binds us to each other. Don't be afraid to encounter risks, It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave. Don't shut love out of your life by saying it's impossible to find. The quickest way to receive love is to give love. The fastest way to lose love is to hold on too tightly, And the best way to keep love is to give it wings. Don't dismiss your Dreams. To be without dreams is to be without hope. To be without hope is to be without purpose. Don't run through life so fast that you forget where you've been, But also know where you're going. Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored every step of the way.
