Hi Kathy, I read your profile. You should stop smoking it is hard to do very hard. I quit smoking 7 years ago. I used to smoke 4 packs a day. I used patches, gum, celery sticks and drank lots of water. The want was there for two years after. But I want to tell you your doing great on losing the weight. You go Girl!!! Just remember when you get down. We are here for your support. My prayers are with you. God Bless

YES,YES,YES WELLBUTRIN DOES WORK BUT SOME ARE TO STRONG ASK FOR 150MGS. SLOW RELEASE AND BUY SUCKERS TO PUT IN YOUR MOUTH AND SUCK I DID SUCESSFULLLY QUIT FOR SURGERY BUT IT WAS DELAYED BECAUSE OF CANCER AND I PICKED THE CIGGS UP AGAIN BUT I AM BACK ON WELLBUTRIN YOUR CIGGS. WILL GET FURHTER BETWEEN TIMES AND LESS URGES UNTIL ONE DAY YOU WILL REALIZE YOU HAD NOT HAD ONE OR WANTED ONE ALL DAY LIKE WITH ANY THING IT IS CHANGING HABITS, I DID NIT THINK I COULD TALK ON THE PHONE OR DRIVE MY CAR WITHOUT ONE BUT I DID IT.. WHEN YOU GET SERIOUS AND READY TO QUIT..PUT OR THROW AWAY YOUR ASHTRAYS, CLEAN YOUR CAR OUT GOOD CLEAN ASHTRAY SHINY CLEAN AND PUT SMELL GOOD IN IT HELPS... HI KATHY AS HARD AS IT IS PLEASE STOP SMOKING BEFORE THE SURGERY..I RAN INTO COMPLICATIONS BECAUSE OF SMOKING AFTER THE SURGERY..IF YOU WANNA START SMOKING AFTER SURGERY GO AHEAD I STILL SMOKE BUT THE COMPLICATIONS ARE BRUTAL..IM NOT TRYING TOI SCARE YOU JUST TRUTH..I WAS IN ICU FOR 2 DAYS UNDER A OXGEN TENT..DO BREASTHIUNG EXERCISES ALSO MAKE YOUR LEGS STRONG AND THE RECOVERY IS SO MUCH BETTER GOOD LUCK JOANN

Hi Kathy, I had dr S too for my surgery. Hes great, a real down to earth man, I think u will like him. His nurses are really busy but they are good, just sometimes fail to respond to your calls! I had my surgery all set up for Hurley in April- went to my pre-op 2 weeks prior to surgery and the dr told me I couldnt have it unless I had a trach. I said no- then we saw an ad for a cori seminar in Birch Run which is about 30 miles from us n hubby said Lets give it a try. We were both very impressed with the presentation and mostly with Dr S taking the time after the seminar to answer any individual questions we may have had. I told him what Hurley said and he said he would have no problem doing my operation, I believed him and I trusted him completely. He is a life saver in my book. I am wishing u good luck with your tests and insurance approval- wont take long to get a date after that!! Good Luck ! De
