November 20, 2003 Total weight loss since October 6 is: ~ 54 pounds ~.......WOW...WOW.. WOO..I'm so happy with that and looking so much forward to what's coming, getting to that magical number of fifty felt so good to me, can't wait to see how it feels to loose 100. I must say I'm one happy camper and I feel so blessed that I have had this surgery. My health is improving weekly and I'm so grateful for being able to walk, talk, dance, swim, laugh and living life without help from others. I'm joining the YMCA the week after Thanksgiving when my psychical therapy/aqua size runs out, Rebbecca the psychical therapist will set op a program to get started with both in the pool and in the gym. I'm still doing fine without my diabetes and high blood pressure medicine. Life is good!! Just thought I would post the happy news....Hugs to all from me. Open RNY 10/06/2003

Hey Tove ~ Congrats on becoming a loser! Take care of yourself and please keep us updated! After all, were all very nosey! HA!! Okay, we care, we care!!! Great to hear about the meds. Keep up the good work and keep fighting the good fight!

Tove Lee, congratulations on making it to the losing side. You had some bumps in the road but I know you will weather this journey and overcome the bumps and move with the curves. I am sooo happy for you and hope to hear how you are progressing. Take care......

My dear Amos ladies and Gents. MY SURGERY WAS A SUCCESS and I'm home and well. I also have this feeling of JOY inside of me. Not only that, as of 24 hours after surgery I have been without any kind of medicine for my diabetes and high blood pressure and my numbers are excellent!!!! I had some bad pains the first 48 hours but after trying different pain medicine, it got under control. I want to thank all of you for the support you have been given to me, I'm absolutely amazed with all the well wishes I have gotten. THANK YOU TO ALL. I will update my profile in a few days when it's less 'tense' to sit upright. All my best to all of you~~ Hugs

Well, I just spoke with Tove. She is HOME from the hospital. What a blessing! Now the fun begins... I will be praying that she heals quickly... that her pain subsides... and that she gets some much needed sleep.

I SPOKE WITH TOVE THIS MORNING AND SHE IS 99% SURE THAT SHE WILL BE GOING HOME TODAY. SOMETIMES AFTER 2 PM SHE SHOULD BE LEAVING THE HOSPITAL. SHE IS NOT SURE WHAT TIME EXACTLY. SHE IS FEELING A LOT BETTER TODAY... SHE FINALLY GOT A LITTLE REST LAST NIGHT.... THINGS ARE LOOKING UP!
