Hello! Firs, thanks again for everyone's well-wishes. I am not over 4 months post-op and feeling great! At last weigh-in I have lost 82 pounds. I have gone from a 56 waist to 48 - and 4x-5x shirt to 2x! I am playing raquetball and working out and find I have plenty of energy! My feet don't hurt as bad as they used to. I am no longer on blood pressure meds or cholesterol meds! The weight is still coming off, but very slow now. That's ok - as long as it keeps coming off. I am am looking forward to finally being able to fit into the seat of a roller coaster!!! AND I can finally sit in an airplane seat and not ask for a seat belt extender! I am a new man! Thanks to this life saving and life changing surgery.

First of all, thanks for everyone's well-wishes. I really do appreciate it! Well, I am two weeks post op and glad to be able to finally get away from pureed protein!! Lately, I have been going through the 'What have I done?' syndrome, which I know is normal and I will get over it. My recovery has been pretty good. The only thing that has been really bothering me is the main scar (where Dr. Wizman does all his work) is a little itchy and the skin around it is sore. Also, the last couple of days my energy levels have been kind of low. I think part of that is that I am so BORED! I really have to think of things to start doing. I used to concentrate on food - can't do THAT anymore! I will start excersizing as soon as my scars heal completely. I am REALLY sick of the protein shakes already. I am looking for other decent tasting shakes other than Met-Rx. Ok, that's it for now. Will update again soon! Mark 27 pounds down!
