Hi all! Cristi is doing really good. The surgery only lasted about an hour and a half. Then she spent another hour in recovery. When they got her stable in ICU, myself, her mom, and Dawne(her angel) got to see her. She was in a little pain but that has now receeded. I left her this afternoon and came home to post an update on her but for some reason it is not posted, but it came back to me in my e-mail as a notification. When I went back this evening she was much better! She was able to sit up for awhile and brush her teeth and cough a little. She kicked me out around 9:00p.m. told me she would be fine and to go home and get some rest.Yeah right like her hubby is really going to rest w/o her here! Thats it for today! If you want to send her a message, e-mail her or post it here and I will print her card and take it to her. Thanks for all of your prayers and thoughts!! Jimmy(Cristi's hubby)

Good Afternoon All! First and foremost Cristi and I would like to say thank you to Jesus for allowing her surgery to go flawless! Cristi went in about 7:35 CST and was out in recovery by 9:20. She was moved to an ICU room and myself,her mom, and Angel Dawne got to see her around 10:30. She is doing well and is in a small amount of pain, but nothing she can't overcome.I am home to give her some well needed rest and will be back up at the hospital later. Now to post some thought I have collected as the weeks have neared. When Cristi reads this I hope that she won't be to upset, but OH WELL, I LOVE HER! Over the last few weeks our e- mails have been more heavy on the receiving end, but the last couple of days GEEZ!! what an awesome group of people you all are. I would say probably about 20-30 e- mails. Cristi and I truely appreciate it. I really think that she has bonded with some of you better than the friends she has here at home. You all have been totally awesome and sooooo supportive. She is not a very emotional person but she hides alot of them inside and I can imagine the happiness she feels inside. To our ANGEL DAWNE: You are truely an incredible person thank you for coming and sitting with me and Cristi's Mom, and also for the home visit last week it really helped her be at ease with all of this. Cristi, as the weeks and months go on I will be there for you to encourage and support you. I am soo proud to have such an awesome wife!! Guess I'll stop rambling for now. Dawne and I will keep everyone updated on her condition. God Bless You All!! Jimmy
