Deborah, thanks for sending Lisa such warm, kind encouragement----how loving of you! I'm glad you're recovering with minimal pain---please keep us all updated on the message board and your profile. Sincerely, Lori Ann
Wow..I'm home (4 days after surgery)from the hospital. Doing expectionally well. Things went much better than I expected.
The only bad part was how very, very uncomfortable the hospital bed was. Needless to say, one more reason I was glad to be home.
Good luck to everybody with their surgery upcoming and most especially to those trying to get approval.
Deborah
Good luck on your healing. Hope everything went okay, and you continue to heal up really good. Don't forget to keep up the walking, it's so good for you. God bless, and take care.
Checking in one last time before surgery to thank the WLS members that have posted on this page or answered my dumb questions at the Q & A section.
My husband and I met with my surgeon one last time before surgery today. He again went through everything and gave us a chance to ask questions.
My husband asked quite a few good questions and thank goodness he is so supportive. I don't know if I could do this without his support. I wonder how people do this without close support around them.
Anyway, Tuesday, Dec. 17th is my day. I'm hoping to post on the "losing" side.
Thanks for all your support and prayers.
My very best wishes to you for a safe and successful surgery and recovery. May all of your sweetest
dreams come true. My husband and I both had open rny's in 2001 and have lost a combined total of
325 lbs!! YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!! BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!!!
