I want to thank everyone for their messages and prayers. God was listening cause I am home and doing incredibly well!!! 9 days post op i had lost 24 lbs!!! I cannot get over how much better I feel already. I'm so excited and just look forward to each new day. This website is beyond description for the caring and support it gives to "total strangers." Total strangers who feel like we have known each other forever.Again thank you so much to everyone for their thoughts and prayers and mostly for sharing all their experiences with the rest of us.

Norma had her surgery on Tuesday the 29th around 2:00 P.M. The Dr. said everything went well and the actual procedure only took about 1 hour and 15 minutes. They kept her in the O.R for another hour however to keep an eye on her breathing because of her history with asthma, sleep apnea and smoking. She was in recovery until about 7:00 that evening and was then put in ICU for the night because she was still on oxygen and they needed to watch her breathing closely. As of today, Wednesday the 30th the Dr. moved her into her own room and out of ICU. I spoke to her this evenig and she is doing pretty well, some pain and neausea, but overall, glad it is over and anxious to start recovering and feeling better.
