Good luck to you Allison. I know exactly what you're going through. I too had VBG on 8/14/00 and wondered myself, preop, if I was choosing the right type of surgery. All I know is that I took that step and am very glad I did. If everything in my life (work, etc.) would go as well as my surgery, everything would be perfect. The only thing to constantly remind yourself is...the weight did get there overnight. My prayers are with you!!

Hi Allison, Just read your profile. Hoping you have an uneventful surgery and a progressive recovery. Stay as calm as you can. Make the 1month after surgery your focal point. By that time you should be back to your normal self.
