I wish you all the best on your upcoming surgery. You are giving yourself the ULTIMATE gift, the gift of LIFE!!! About your husband visiting you in the hospital. Did it ever occur to you that he may NEED to see you? My husband and I both had this surgery and I felt the need to see him and make sure he was doing OK and was being treated right by the nurses. He also felt this need. Let him decide if and when to come see you. Your kids may need to see you too.
