Just wanted to let eveyone know that i made it through surgery. Each day gets a little better. I had surgery on Monday. My Appt. time was 12pm, but due to complications with someone else, they did not get me in until around 3:00pm. I only remember being wheeled down the hall and the anesthesiologist talking to me saying he was going to give me something that was going to burn my arm, and that is all I remember until I woke up. I woke up in excruciating pain. It was the most painful thing I have ever felt in my life....however, I have never had any other surgeries, and I don't have any kids, so maybe I am just a baby (which is probably true). They started giving me morphine and the pain was not so bad anymore. The hospital staff was absolutely wonderful, and I do not have any complaits about them or the doctors that did my surgery. The hospital bed was a pain in the butt. I was lucky enough to have one of the special bariatric beds, which made getting up and down a little easier, but it was not comfortable to sleep on. Plus, I am a stomach sleeper and not being able to sleep on my stomach is driving me nuts right now. I have not had a decent sleep since Sunday night. As far as pain. I really do not have very much rich now. I really have not had to take my pain medicine except for when I slept (and it gave me alot of bad dreams). I did have alot of problems with nausea. I was so sick to my stomach. I am not so much anymore now, but I still do not have a desire to eat anything. I have to force myself to eat jello, and I have not really eaten any of the broth. They gave me some gatorade int he hospital, which I think made me a little sick. It does have soem sugar in, and you are supposed to water it down, but I don't think I got it watered down enough and I got so sick to my stomach and the chills. I almost did not get to go home last night, due to my blood pressure shooting up to 174/135, which I have never had a problem with my blood pressure in my life. They were going to keep me an extra day, but they tried me on some blood pressure patch, and it went down to 149/80, and they let me go home....boy was I happy!!!! I did try to walk alot while I was in the hospital, which I think helped quite a bit. I think it took some of the pain away, and also the gas. Well, I am still pretty sore, so I think I will sign off for now. I will post more when I get to feeling better.

In all things Remember, that the one above loves you, that He holds us all in his loving arms,He knows each of us by name.He said anything you ask for in "my name" will be given to you.So in His name I pray for you, that you be given strength, endurance, love, peace and most of all long life.In Jesus' name. When you wake up and see the faces of your loved ones in the recovery room, know that you have made it.Thank Him,Know that you have been blessed to see and to live out the rest of your days with the ones you love and the ones who love you.....Knowing that He loves you too. Happy soon to be ReBirthday.
