Maggie - Just wanted to send you my best wishes for an uneventful surgery and recovery. You're soon to be on the 'loosa' side, as you say, and you'll feel great about the decision. Remember your 2 biggest rules - Sip and Walk - and you'll be fine! Hugs!

Maggie, I've followed your journey from your first post on our site. You have always been so supportive of everyone and so determined with your own. I just know you will do great. I want to share this with you: Good things happen to people who are not afraid to take a chance. After all, taking a chance on life, on others and on yourself is what living is all about. I’m sure you have heard the old maxim that says there is nothing to fear but fear itself. That is so true. Once you finally realize that fear is nothing more than a feeling and that you can keep that feeling under control, your days of letting fear run you life are over. I sent this to you, because I used to let fear run my life and this entire journey, losing the weight, gaining confidence has helped to to face those fears and beat them instead of running or hiding. the best is yet to come! hugs Cheryl

Hi Maggie, I'd say don't be nervous but, heck, I was nervous. Of course it was all for nothing (except I burned a few extra calories) because my surgery went just fine. For me, the week before surgery was harder than the week after. Pesky nerves. Anyway, remember to keep it positive. That includes having only positive people around you. The negative ones are just ill informed and will drive you nuts. I hope all your health and weight-loss dreams come true,

In all things Remember, that the one above loves you, that He holds us all in his loving arms,He knows each of us by name.He said anything you ask for in "my name" will be given to you.So in His name I pray for you, that you be given strength, endurance, love, peace and most of all long life.In Jesus' name. When you wake up and see the faces of your loved ones in the recovery room, know that you have made it.Thank Him,Know that you have been blessed to see and to live out the rest of your days with the ones you love and the ones who love you.....Knowing that He loves you too. Happy soon to be ReBirthday.
