Hi all thank you all for the prayers and the concerns. I got home from the hospital tonight. 9 days post op. The surgery itself went well but soon after I statrted having some severe problems with asthma. I spent a total of 4 days in ICU but they kept the morphine running and the only thing I seem to remember of it was a room full of visitiors and my son was among them. (He died 3 1/2 years ago). There was something very peaceful in that visit though and allowed me to rest enough to regain some strength. I spent the rest of the time in a regular room and the hospital staff was just wonderful. I had only one event and that was Thursday that slowed down the healing and that was due to vomiting 1 time. So I ended up having to stay until today. I have very little pain, and have already jumped into the shower to wash my hair and everything that don't get washed well in the hospital. Looking forward to hearing from everyone. Love Cyndi

I thought that this day would never come and I am sure that you felt the same way too, but in a day, and two weeks for me, it will.
