Hi all: Sorry it has been so long in writing. A lot has happened since we last spoke. I was not able to have my band tightened. Dr. Molina said that the insurance company wouldn't pay for it. So I am stuck at 226 pounds. I am very unhappy. I no longer have health insurance so I will not be able to have the necessary surgery to correct the band. My house burned in November 2001. Still fighting the insurance company. I don't seem to have very good luck with insurance companies. Hope to see you soon....

Well, I guess I should give an up date. It is Monday the 30th of July and I have lost 40 pounds. I am set to go back to Dr. Molina's and have a redo or a tighting of my band on the 17th of Aug. Keep your fingers crossed. Lets hope that the band will give me the restriction its suppose to.

jane, i live in london, kentucky also and am hoping to have surgery. i'm glad all is well for you. joan kenney
