Hi, Michelle. I booked marked the Rules for Dummies and this is the website I found it on. www.shelby.net/wizards/larger.htm, hope this helps. Take care, Diana

I read your post on the boards about the donut monster attacking you <Smile> and thought I might offer you a few suggestions. I know that when the carb cravings kick in (have you read anything about carb addiction? There are some awesome books out there!) try eating a rich protein (like fresh tuna or a nice piece of juicy steak), or add some very sweet fruit (cantaloupe, berries, banana, etc.) to your daily diet. The fruit I find helps curb the need for sweets. Berries with cool whip do it for me. Also drink more water to help give you that too-full-to-eat feeling. Best of luck to you Michelle - hang tough, you CAN do it!

Hi Michelle, I had just over 100lbs to lose and was pretty close to your same weight loss at 10 weeks post op. I'm nearly a year post op now and wish I was still losing at that same rate! I hope you manage to keep the momentum! I am 25lbs from goal now and its a struggle for me. Best wishes to you!

I spoke to Michelle yesterday evening and she's feeling a little better. Looking forward to getting her NG tube out sometime today and being able to drink! She's doing plenty of walking and has Cindy Tyminski keeping her company on the hall walking jaunts. Congratulations Michelle! Hope everything is smooth sailing from here!

I spoke to Michelle yesterday evening and she was doing pretty good. She was pretty sore and was VERY glad it was over! She thought she'd get up and try and walk last night if they'd let her. I'll call her again this evening and update later.
