4:30 pm yesterday afternoon Mom was being sent to her room (Room 210 Baptist Hospital - her room number is 850-434-4210). She looked extremely well and started waking up about 7:00 pm. I left her feeling more and more awake about 11:30 pm last night and she said "its not that bad".

Mom...... Well today is your big day ! You are on your way to "the other side" and I know how excited you are. You deserve all the happiness this journey is going to bring you. You have spent your entire life caring for others (including me) and now it is time to take care of yourself. You deserve all the TLC that is coming your way! Good Luck and I Love You !!!!

Wishing you all the best on your surgery - it truely is the beginning of a new life. We are so lucky to be able to have that second chance. I too have a daughter Jennifer - she and my daughter Julie were quite a lot of help to me post-op. Single mom, so no "significant other" to help! Panama City here, had my surgery Jan 17th so I'm BARELY post-op myself! Good luck, I will keep you in my prayers.

I am in Pensacola also. I had the surgery in May. I have lost 140lbs already. Remember it will be hard But, its worth it. You will do great . May God Bless you..Patty I

I pray that your recovery will be fast and beyond your hopes. I ask that God watch over you and bring your through safely to the other side. Walk, cough and breathe deep as you being your new life. God bless you.
