Hi all, its been awhile since i posted, just want to tell everyone that life is great. i finally got rid of my kidney stones (for now) and i am feeling great. i am down 67 pounds in four month...wow its incredible. i started my exercise program with a personal trainer (which i recommend) and i am eating just about anything i want except for rice, pasta and bread. they do not agree with me. but i do not miss it. i feel very good and look forward to reaching my 100 pound anniversary before march 04. this is when i am planning my wedding anniversary cruise. i am soooooo very excited. hopefully i will be able to do the things i have not been able to do in the past, for example parasail, ice skate and rock climb. all this will be available to me on that new beautiful ship Mariner of the Seas. Hope everyone has a wonderful christmas and new year. i look forward to the new year which hopefully will be an exciting and gratifying experience for you and all you guys....thanks for the continued support to all my very good and close support group friends (Julie, Heather, Zelma, Connie,Donna V,Jackie and group)

~*~I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.~*~Hugs to you~*~

Hi Everyone I have been gone for a while because i have been fighting some kidney stones. I have been in major pain. the docs tell me that my kidney stone was released due to being dehydrated.I did not feel dehydrated. but who knows. anyway, if anyone has ever passed a kidney stone you know how painful that is...well, my wls has gone great. no problems actually. i try sticking to the diet that was given to me and i seen to be okay. i weighed myself this am and i am down another five pounds. I had hit a plateau and stayed the same weight for 2.5 weeks. but today, the scale moved. thank God..i was begining to worry. I have not started any exercise program until i hit my six week which is on oct. 1, then i will have 12 weeks of working with a personal trainer, which was paid by my workmans comp. well, i am on my way to a heathier life style as soon as i can get rid of these stones and start exercising...thank you all for all your concerns and i will keep in touch..288 down to 255 in 5 weeks.........

Hi Everyone i am back from the fatter side. I had my surgery tuesday, i am 6 days post op. Yes, i have lots of pain and discomfort right now, but i can sure tell that i am beginning to feel better everyday.I am sleeping on a recliner , i cannot sleep in bed. so its somewhat uncomfortable. the hospital stay was very nice, at tampa general, there were a few nurses that were nasty at times, and i sure put them in their place, for i am a nurse myself, and then everything continued well. I got a private room on the third night. my husband had to sleep in the truck one night. but all in all it was a good hospital stay, if you had to stay in one. Not too much pain during any of the post op procedures. Morphine did not work well for me, for it gave me a bad headache. but soon i was moved to roxicept.I am home now and doing well, i also want to mention that i lost 6 pounds while hospitalized, that is a plus. I will update soon... thanks for all the well wishes.
