I can't believe I have my consultation appointment this week! December 8th has arrived very quickly (especially since I thought I was going to have to wait 3 years for this appointment LOL). I'm so excited to finally meet Dr. Nohr and get some of my questions answered!!

My First Blog.... EVER!!

Well, I just updated my "Introduction" and it went better than I thought. It felt a little bit like one of those dating websites that we've all tried (I actually met my husband through one LOL) but I think I managed to keep it simple. I've been thinking more and more about the surgery... and the more I think about it, the more convinced I am that it is the right choice. My biggest fear lately is that my hip will finally quit on me and the doctors will tell me I'm too fat to have a replacement. I couldn't even really blame them... it would be such a waste to put a brand new hip into this body. My hope is that after the surgery I won't even need a new hip!!
