Well, it's been really hard to adjust to new eating habits, but I do have to say that it's finally getting easier! I'm learning to make better decisions and to fight the head games that obesity plays. I went to see Dr DeWitt on Tuesday and got a pretty good report. I've now lost 65lbs! I'm having some issues with my hernia repair incision, but boy do I feel better than I did! I'm so thankful that the hernia has been repaired and the weight is coming off. I'm on my way!!!...!!!

Well, I had been taken off of all my meds for diabetes and blood pressure, but after 3 days back to work, I knew something was up. My head was killing me everyday!!! I stopped by my GPs office and my pressure was sky high...so I'm back on the meds. I'm so thrillled to be off of the diabetes medicine already though! That's a huge relief!!!

Well, it will be 2 months since my surgery on February 4th, and I've lost 52lbs so far. I'm feeling better and better each day. Yesterday was my first day back at work and Ieft with a headache, but I needed to get back into a work routine. I would love to have lost more weight and this point, but I'm not going to complain!!!

Tuesday will be 2 weeks since my bypass and hernia repair. The hernia repair kept me down a little bit, but I'm on my way to a full recovery. I will find out next week if I've lost any weight. I can't wait! I hope to have great results!

I am so thrilled!!! I finally got approved and had my preop yesterday. I will have surgery in 4 short days. I'm nervous, but it's a great nervous! I can't wait!
