Surgery to be in April 2010 (hopefully)

I just had my first appt with my surgeon Dr. Rush on 2/19/10. He said he thinks we can schedule my RNY in APril. I am so excited and happy. He wants me to lose 5-10 lbs before hand. So I am going to start the post-op eating program early. :) Any advice is most welcome.
Oh, and surgery is at Madigan Army Med Center.
