Hi All,

I'm 6 weeks post-op (RNY) and feeling like surgery just wasn't right for me.

Sure, I am down 36lbs since pre-op diet. People are noticing, commenting, I have moments where I notice it, too.

My problem is t

I thought I was blown away by how different pre-op diets were around the world until people started discussing their post-op and losing their minds over what I was eating already at 1 week post-op.

RNY was March 23rd, making today my 1 week surgiversary. I am down 11lbs, 24lbs total since starting pre-op diet. 

I got home from the hospital at 11am on Thursday (the next day) where I opened my first protein shake. I didn't finish it until F

24hra post op and the gas in my abdomen is killing me. It's freezing rain out so walking the block isn't an option, but I have been walking randomly around the house with no relief. Sitting hurts, laying down hurts, standing hurts. Haaaalp!

Surgery is Wednesday and I keep cheating on my 3 week pre-op diet. I'm so upset with myself but I keep doing it.

I've had bites of cottage cheese, chicken, greenbeans etc here and there over the last 3 weeks but that isn't what I'm bothered by.
