Hi, Amber! Have you talked to your human resources about short term disability? It's my understanding that after 2 weeks, the short term disability would kick in and you would get probably about 60% of your salary. It's probably different in each state, but you might want to check into it as an option. Good Luck!

HI Amber~~ I read your posting, and I am curious, what 2 week liquid diet are you on? Is it required before surgery? I haven't heard of dieting before weight loss surgery. Hugz and happy thoughts for you on your way to the losing side (!)

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright. I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more. I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive. I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger. I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting. I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess. I wish you a speedy recover and a welcome to the losing side Amber!!!!!!!

Best wishes to you for an uneventful surgery and a recovery thats as quick and painfree as possible. This quote is from a book my grandmother gave me before she passed away. It was one of her favorites.(Kahlil Gibran) "But if in your thought you must measure time into seasons, let each season encircle all the other seasons, and let today embrace the past with remembrance and the future with longing"
