Jonathan Schoen

"What was your first impression of him/her? He was professional and informative. How did your impression change over time? Each time I saw him I felt more comfortable and he seemed more personable. How would you describe his/her office staff? Awesome. They are great. What did you like least about him/her? Not really about him but sometimes it is hard to talk to a live person when you call in. You have to leave a message and get a returned call. What should future patients know about him/her? He practices at a teaching hospital which means (while in the hospital) you deal with interns/residents. At times I'd rather just have him treat me. How much does he/she emphasize aftercare? Very important~ Does he/she have a structured aftercare program? Yes. It is outlined at your first visit. How did he/she address the risks of surgery? He told me the risks of surgery and obesity. How would you rate him/her overall? Very good. Which is better, surgical competence, bedside manner, or are both great? I had confidence in his surgical competence and each time I've seen him I feel his bedside manner is more personable."

University of Colorado Hospital (DUPLICATE)

"I would recommend this hospital. Just know that because it is a teaching hospital you will talk with many different folks. "
