I've got a BA in Writing and Ancient History from Sarah Lawrence College. The odes didn't pay too well so I became a computer teacher and later a tech coordinator. I've followed my DH around the globe; I've lived in Brooklyn, Boston, Tuscany, Paros (Greece), Hawaii, and we've finally settled in San Diego, CA (he's a zookeeper now) . I mostly filled in the holes with whatever work I could get but was always missing that ever important certification. After my first child I worked from home but struggled. I was jubilant to be accepted to SJSU's School of Library and Information Science. It brought together all of the pieces in my life and tied them into a nice big bow. I have a beautiful 3 (almost 4) year-old girl and I had another baby (boy) this past summer. Tubes now tied! I am very lucky (if not crazy) to have the opportunity to stay home and also go to school. It's time for my physical life to catch up to my mental and emotional life. I am active but at 35 beginning to slow down. I hate not being able to tie my shoes, fit comfortable in most seats, and barely be covered by a towel. Change is in the air but I know I need help!
