1. Between BC/BS and Dr. Haicken's and my wife, we received a certification prior to surgery. Dr's staff is somewhat harried but very nice. 2. Dr. is very nice, everything I have heard or read about him is true, but follow up on what he says he is going to do. He is very busy and the surgery is his formost concern. 3. I had my surgery on Friday 4/12/02, start was delayed somewhat as the guy in front of me was a big job, pray for him. I could have gone home Sunday, but decided to stay in as we live about an hour from Morton Plant Hospital. Like any place the squeaky wheel gets the oil. Hit the call button at least twice. Also use the painkiller. I think it helps to be unaware of the pain as much as possible. 4. Went home Monday about Noon, Wife Camille is helping by fixing the eats and watching the quantity, I need all the help I can get going from quarts to ounches at a time. 5. Its late Tuesday nite and its time to shutdown. Will say more later.
