Well my story is not much diffrent from alot of other peoples.  I have been heavy almost all of my life!  After getting pregnant  with my daughter senior year of high school and gaining almost 60lbs pounds in the process things never went back to "normal".  After giving birth to a 6lbs 7oz baby the weight did not go away because of the feelings of depression and turning to food to make me feel better.  By the time she was 2 I finally lost most of the weight but after a few more failed relationships the weight went right back up tp well over 200lbs.  It took me a while to come back down to around 175 but that only lasted for a little while.  Once again I turned to food to make me happy and the weight went right back up.  I met my husband at a point that the weight was managable and he loved me for who i was not what i looked like.  things were good for a few years until newly married and not even 30 and my husband had a heart attack so once again I turned too food for comfort.  I peaked at an all time high for me of 289lbs at 5'4" and wearing a size 24 pants. I tried may diets with little or no loss and more fustration than ever.  Depression set in with the weight and pain in my knees and back to the point of not being able to do anything but sit on the couch at night.  It finally became time to stop the madness with my weight when at 33 I was told that the damage in my knees was so bad that I would most likely need a new knee by the time I was 40.  So I decided it was time to do something now!  I did my best and lost  30 lbs on my own the it just stopped.  I had considred surgey 2 years ago but was not ready at the time and decided now was the right time.  I put my mind to it and brought my weight down to a safe surgey weight.  Now I am working towards a dream of being healthy.
