9/1/10 Update

Yesterday I found out that my doctor could no longer do my surgery due to my insurance.  I came home last night from my appointments in NY with pain in my side and wanting to just lie down and cry.  I went to the ER and found that I have Diverticulitis and a spot on my kidney that they think is a cyst.... When it rains it pours..
So today Doctor Valin's office called and told me that they are willing to accept me as a new patient.  I got an email from my doctor telling me that he could refer me to a doctor in ct that I would like. And that I would be in good hands with.  Come to find out its the same doctor I already found.  Funny how things work.. So my surgery is on..just waiting for my first appointment with the new doctor.
