Almost 15 years later

Jan 21, 2019

Well, Here I am almost 15 years later, after the RNY gastric bypass. It’s been an interesting, ride.

Let’s see where to start.  I am doing fantastically! Started out this journey married. Since then I have been divorced for 10 years almost 11 years now. Which is a good thing! I started driving truck in 2007, Drove until 2013, worked as a correctional officer for about 2 years.

Then in October 2016 I made a huge move from the ocean state of Florida to the complete opposite and now live in the GORGEOUS STATE OF WYOMING. MY GOAL FOR MYSELF, WAS TO BE BACK IN GODS COUNTRY, MOUNTAINS, RIVERS, AND 4 SEASONS!

I am engaged to the most amazing man ever!

I have a job I absolutely love!

And best of all, after a couple of years of weight fluctuations and getting back over 200 lbs, I am back to my goal of under 170. 167, is where I am today. It’s true what they say, if you are not happy, you’re not gonna be successful. Stress is gone and so went the weight.

Hard to believe it has been almost 15 years.

Almost 50 years old and feel better than I ever thought possible.

I have had no additional surgery, no major issues, other than iron. Still wouldn’t change anything!

God Bless,

Angie

How great it is!  I did not even realize it had been 3 yrs until I checked my e-mail and found a Rebirthday greeting from OH.  I am doing So awesome!  I am down to 165.  Although I fluxuate from 165 to 172 or so.  I STILL retain masive amounts of fluid and my Dr does not know why.  So I take my fluid pills and keep trucking.  I am now in 31 jeans,  Its the HIPS!!!  I have broad hips, genetics I guess.  And I have to wear mens jeans to get the length I need.  And Apparently MEN don't have HIPS!  So I have to wear 31's.  Its Awesome though!  Am seriously considering looking into Plastics.  The Boobs are my biggest issue!  LORD they are AWEFUL!  But if I had the skin in my belly removed it would not help the issue UNLESS I could convince a Dr to shave about an INCH from each hip BONE!

I am dumping again on sugar.  I guess I had got to big for my pouchie and she set me straight!

I have been very blessed with great elasticity in the skin.  I dont have alot of skin, although the thighs (inner) could use a serious LIFT!  And the Bat wings are there.  But I will take the flaws!  I am so self confident and happy with myself it is often surreal!  I somtimes look in the mirror and wonder who it is looking back!

The greatest feeling of ALL!  Was my mom and brothers reaction when I went home for the first time since surgery in May.  I thought for sure my mom was gonna pass out!  Then I went to my 20th class reunion, or get together, sice in reality there was only 23 of us that graduated and only 15 showed up.  lol!  NOONE recognized me!  I was blowing them away.  I also went to graduation and saw alot of old school mates and I literally had to introduce myself to several of them.  It was unbelievable!

The only regret, is, I wish my oldest brother was still alive to see me now.  He would be so proud of me.  He actually tried to talk me out of surgery because he said it was too risky.  But I know he would see me now and know I did the right thing.

Well currently got to get some sleep!  Love to All!

Hey all, 1/29/07 now and I KNOW I HAVE TOTALLY lost contact with everyone.  I am doing splendid!  I am currently down to 187.  And I found out that my high weight that I thought was 328 was actually 342.
My Dr informed me of this about 2 months ago.  I of course nearly fell out.  My actual weight the day before surgery was 328.  I am currently in size 32 jeans, I am NOT sure what that converts to in womens sizes cuz I have to buy mens for the length. I do know I can wear mu hubbies clothes which is too cool!  And I can wear medium shirts but mostly large, since they are longer.  Again Height being an issue.  I DO however have a Dress I bought for a special night out with my hubby and it is a sz 14.  It actually fit a little loose.  He was blown away!
I have not been all THAT busy that I could not have got on here, I have migrated I guess.  I do not workout as I should and I have actually started a little sugar in the diet.  But sometimes I have cravings.  I eat pretty much whatever I want just not as much.  I usually eat maybe 2x's a day.  If that.  Other than that all is normal.  I am gonna start getting on here more and hopefully with a job change I will be able to hook up with my buddies in and around Meridian!
Love ya'll!
