WOW moments!

Nov 10, 2010

Hey everyone it has been a long while since I've been on. Hope you are all doing well. Have had a number of WOW moments in the last month. Sat in an airplane without extension. Was able to leave the arm down! The hotel had bathrobes, I was about to call to ask for a larger one, my husband said, 'what are you doing that for, you don't need it, so tried it on and had extra room! Went to store and saw a bathing suit I liked it was a reg 14, I'm thinking I'll never fit into this, tried it on and bought it, my hubby loved it and I wore it the whole time we were there (marco island, florida).

Finally found out why I was vomiting so much. Had a endoscopy on Tues. Dr wanted to check esophogus since the  myotomy was done 6 months ago. When I got there I had to put on a hospital gown, so I did and it wrapped around me well. I asked the nurse if it was a larger than normal size she said, 'no'. I got so excited I jumped up in the bed and yelled out WOW! I thought she was going to pee her pants laughing so hard, then she said good for you! Anyway, the myotomy opened the esophogus permenantly, which is causing me to swallow more air than normal. The vomiting is caused by GURD (reflux) due to the open esophogus, the air makes me want to burp, the open area causes anything in pouch to back up with the burp. The area is raw, and he had to take two biopsies. Also said I have a small ball of stuff stuck inbetween two of the originao stitches. Waiting for test results in two weeks and will know what to do then.
