Scared and exited at the same time...

Hi my name is Tarieka and i have been battling weight lost for many years. I am 37 years old and have been over 220lbs since i was 24 years old. I was married at 25 and separated at 30 
and my weight increased from that point on
. I have tried many weight lost remedies I would loose 10lbs here and 15lbs there then gain 20 more in the next 2-3 months. It was not until about 2 years ago that i realized that i was very unhappy with me.
I became comfortable in my skin being married and comfortable. I was not eating healthy, not exercising. Just home, kids and work. Well it was December 2010 that i decided to have weight lost surgery. I have had many mixed emotions i was told i did not need to have surgery, just work out. Well i did that, it did not work for me
. I would start and stop within months. I started reading others stories on this website and many of you have became my hidden friends .
Well here I am scheduled for Surgery on 3/21/2011. I am looking forward to this life style change and weight lost journey.
