I am a revision now!! I had my band taken out (and my Doc let me keep it) and I was revised to the bypass on Aug 8th. I am 2 days over from it being 8 weeks out and I am 2 pounds short of 40 pounds!!!! I could not be more excited about my decision. However it was not all fun and games. I was in the OR for 4.5 hours and my Doc. tells me I'm his most difficult case... ever in the 7 years he has been doing these surgeries. The first 3 weeks was hell! To start with I had to go home on O2 and I was in a lot of pain. I was not walking nearly enough and I was super dehydrated. But now that I am 8 weeks out I am as happy as I think I can possibly be. Thanks to my friends and family I am still alive!!
