Your surgery -- the beginning of your new and wonderful life - is just a few days away! It's exciting to watch you because I hope to be going soon. You will look back at this before too long and remember the excitement, the hunger, the fear you are feeling and be so amazed at your strength. We're all here to follow your progress and help you to be strong. You have a wonderful angel to guide you along the way. I wish you joy and success! You're gonna do great, Reggie! Kathi

I really understand your fears. It is so nice to have the surgery done. You will feel it the first day or 2 for sure, but it gets better every day. The reward is getting on the scales and seeing the weight coming off. I am a slow loser, but I just keep losing and now am down 92 lbs. So, no matter if you lose fast or slow, it works. Be patient with yourself and don't forget that it will really take 6-8 weeks to totally recover. So, don't try to rush yourself or expect your body to do more than it can. Lots of rest, sip, sip, sip and you will be up and running in no time. I will be thinking of you and anxious to hear how you are doing. Diana
