I'm a 42 year old wife and mother. I have 2 daughters, the oldest who just recently got married (what a terrible picture day that was) and the youngest who will be starting college this month. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversry this October.  Sure sounds like the perfect story so far.....

I started gaining weight after the births of my children, (50 lbs each) and just had a helk of a time taking it off. I tried every diet out there but they would only work temporarily and then I would gain everything back I lost, and then some. Over a 20 year span this is where I ended up. Being I am only 42 and with the children grown, it was finally time for my husband and I to start enjoying life and traveling, but because of my weight I felt so tired and achy, actually I felt like I was occupying some old persons body and unable to do anything and mentally was young and wanted to have fun.

These are the factors that brought me to the decision to lose the weight for good and keep it off. I want to be young and full of energy and able to keep up with my husband and do all the things we weren't able to do before. It should be the prime of our lives but I'm watching it pass me by while I sit on the couch. Drastic times call for drastic measures....so here I am, beginning a new journey and I am going to love every minute of it because the rewards at the end will be priceless!!!
