I was so greatful for the rain we just had here. It brought about a nice cool front. The weather was spectacular and great for walking. I was so excited, and ready to get my walking in today....

but then... I went outside and noticed the sky was YELLOW. It was sooooo smoky outside from all of the forest fires. I guess we needed the rain, but cough, cough. There was no way I was going to go out walking in that, let alone take the baby in her stroller. 

I tried to do a bit of housework. I soon became in pain, and ended up having to take my liquid lowertab. This stuff puts me right to sleep. Today was uneventful, but the scale said 257.5 pounds at the END of the day. Hopefully first thing in the morning I will be less.  I am not counting on it though.

I made a pact to only weigh myself when I wake up, and right before bed. That sure beats the 12-15 times a day I had started weighing myself before.

Hopefully tommorrow will be less smokey. I really doubt it though. Maybe I will have to find a store to walk around in for a few hours. Yeah, Walmart or something.

My mother has been coming every other day to help me with the baby and upkeep on the house. I think she will be suprised to see how quickly I am starting to regain my energy. Its just this darn G-TUBE that is getting in my way.. Oh well, can't complain to much. My spirits are much better today/evening.

Lets see here, I was 282 to start.  I am currently 259. That is a total weightloss of 24 pounds since surgery.  I am still having bathroom problems and my weight fluctuates from 259-257.  That little fluctuation drives me crazy! My nutritionist says it is because i am probably retaining water. Anytime you fluctuate like that back and forth there is usually water retention involved.  

My g-tube is driving me crazy. I end up doing all my walking in the evening because I can't stand the heat or prepiration on that open wound.  I swear I would be doing so much more if it were out. I have to wait until around the 22 or 23 to get it taken out.  It has been a pain to say the least.

I am trying so hard to keep up with my walking. It is a bit frustrating that I haven't lost barely anything this week or last. I feel if this tube were out, I would be even more active. It still hurts and at times I am still taking the pain medication. The stitches love to bother me and slide in and out of my wound site enough to cause me pain and much irritation.  

With the hives I have been having that just makes it even more frustrating. I can't stand the heat outside at all. I turn into one huge hive each time I am out in the sun.  

Am a bit frustrated to tell you the truth. I feel like I am still waiting for my life to start. I won't feel whole till this tube is gone. I know my doc has my best interest at heat. He has some reason for keeping this tube in.  I won't question it, but I don't have to like it..hahaha.

I feel like I have more energy, and I can't use it like I want to at the momment. SOON BARBARA....... SOON... Have a bit more patience.  I am so excited for school to end. I have a feeling like I am going to be much more active with the kids this summer. I have something to look forward to.  I want to make the most of this summer with the kids. 

My goodness, I am still itching up a storm am still covered in hives. I go to the GP tommorrow and then to the surgeon on the 25 for post op.  I hope this clears up soon!! Starting to worry a bit. :( Kind of bummed out too. I also have leakage around my tubing. What a way to start my new life off?!?  On the flipside I am up to a 19.5 pound loss. I just hope everything is going to turn out fine. Yeah, I am a worry wart. Peace. barbara~

Just got up from my nap, and actually feel better and less broken out. YAYAYAY.. Hope it stays this way.

I don't even know the date today..hahahah. Not really I feel like I am high in the sky... (This is not really a good thing)  Today is now Sunday 221am.

Hi there Y'all. I noticed that my neck started itching in the hospital. I thought it was nerves or something. Then it went from my neck to my scalp, then down my back, bottom, legs, etc. I called the doc and he put me on different pain meds.  Well... it was worse tonight, so I went to er. I don't think the er knows how to handle me. I didn't want to bother the doc again. Oh well, guess I will call him in the morning. THe er doc told me that he wanted me back on my original pain med, plus he ordered a steroid.  I told him I now have burning urine...:(   I am wondering if the tape has something to do with it. I took all my tape off and only have one holding my feeding tube up. I do have the gauze/padding still around the tube, but no tape. It is holding up fine.  

I can't believe that ER. They shot me up with MOPHINE and then sent me home!!! I was to doped up to care what was going on at the momment!!! Oh well. I am going to call my surgeon tomorrow during decent hours. I have a bit more faith in him, I just wished I lived closer to his office.  He is a really great surgeon.
