GNC has the detour bar. Try the Oneway bar too. YUM. Also Yep I was tired quite a bit for the 1st 6 wks or so. Your energy will return more each day. Rest when you feel the need. Once you get moving after the healing period it seems we can't stop LOL. I'm so much more active now. God bless, Jamie

Beth, thank you for putting the no carb bread recipe in the Q&A section. I just didn't want to type it all twice! It sounds like you're doing well so far. Keep it up--it gets much easier after the first couple of months.

Beth, The first 2 weeks is the hardest, I promise it will get better. My surgery was 2.5 weeks ago and each day gets better. My angel said that many regret surgery in the first few weeks, just remember that and KNOW in a month things will be better!!! Stay positive and think about how great you will feel in 6 months. Good luck!

Hi Beth, Lol I can relate to you wanting to gorge out on food!! I have felt the same way, I want a big mac(ty commercials) and I don't relly enjoy them that much! But believe me, if you even take one little bite too much, you will feel so miserable u wish u had never even seen that food!! I am having a tough time eating, I am almost 6 weeks out and cannot eat meat and alot of other stuff that I should be eating. I know I am eating way to many carbs. I can get along without sweet stuff, I guess because I take my protien with sugar free instant breakfast in chocolate. I seem to be a slow learner as to food intake , I throw up almost every dang day-- someday I will learn!!SOON I hope! Take care Beth. De
