Hi Quameko, I just wanted to says congrats on your journey to the other side and soon you will be accomplishing all of your dreams. You are an inspiration to us all. HEY OBESITY MEMBERS, THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT AND LUV THAT YOU HAVE ALL EXPRESSED FOR MY COUSIN MEKO!!! SHE HAD HER SURGERY TODAY AT 1:30 PM AT RUSH HOSPITAL AND ALL IS WELL WITH THE SURGERY!!!!!THEY DIDN'T GIVE THE FAMILY ANY SOLID NEWS UNTIL ABOUT 6:15 PM WHICH AT THAT TIME WE HAD STARTED TO GET A LITTLE ANXIOUS NOT KNOWING ANYTHING FOR SO LONG BUT WE WORKED IT OUT UNTIL ABOUT 9 PM WHEN THEY LET US VISIT WITH HER FOR 15 MINUTES IN THE RECOVERY ROOM. SHE OPENED HER EYES TO ACKNOWLEDGE SHE KNEW WE WERE THERE , THEN SHE TOOK MY HAND AND TRIED TO PUSH IT UNDER HER BACK BECAUSE OF THE PAIN THAT WE ALL EXPERIENCE LYING ON YOUR BACK IN ONE POSITION FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME. SHE WILL STAY IN SICU OVERNIGHT FOR OBSERVATION AND THEY WILL PUT HER IN A REGULAR ROOM SOMETIME TOMMORROW EVENING IF ALL CONTINUES TO GO WELL. THEY SAID THAT HER PRESSURE WAS A LITTLE ELEVATED DO TO THE PROCEDURE BUT THAT WAS TO BE EXPECTED. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT AND YOUR PRAYERS, THEY WERE NEEDED AND WELCOMED!!!!I WILL UPDATE ASAP. ANGEL (LATANYA)

Congratulations Girly!!! Today is the day, that you'll cross over to the loosing side. I pray all went well with your surgery and that you have an uneventful recovery. I hope you've picked out a new name for your car tags. (LOL) I found out today that my surgery date is 6/2/03, I'll be joining you soon, WOOOOHOOO! :-) May God bless and keep you near.

Congratulations on your new birthday. I have faith and know that everything will be fine. Quick, get your last big meal in. It'll be your last big meal and make it your favorite. When you get to the hospital, make sure you ask for that stuff to calm you down. You are a very beautiful person!!! Anyhoo, welcome to the loosing side!!!!!
