Today I had a RFA procedure on the lower right part of the spine. This burns the nerves around disk to help provide pain relief. It was very painful during and afterwards for about an hour. I will have the left side done in two weeks. RFA last for 6-18 months before nerves grow back. I have. little pain now after 6 hours have gone by. I would recommend any one having moderate to severe pain to seek out a pain specialist, with medication and other options you can greatly reduce pain levels. Now with pain being lower no excuse not to exercise. I am looking at a seriously reduce calorie diet to start monday . I started the long process of seeking out surgical help to continue my life long journey. I go to info seminar on 4/13. I am 96 lbs less than I used to be, I chose to get help to reach my goal. I am looking into having the gastric sleeve operation. From stories I have read and medical research I believe this operation will best suit my needs. Have a great day
