With that, I consider myself to be the richest man on the planet!**************************Well my story actually began about three years ago. My doctor asked my if I would like to go to the informational session at St. Mary's hospital for gastric bypass. I was very uninformed and I declined. Well that being said, at my visit with him in December of 2005 he brought it up again with the positive health benefits there was with the surgery. I went to the session in January 2006 and the journey began. It seemed to take forever, jumping through all of the hoops that the clinic and the insurance company set out for you. But finally a date was set and I had Lap RNY on 12/28/06. I truly look forward to regaining my life. I have always been a high energy fun loving person (the old jolly fat guy), and now I can return as the jolly thin guy. I have a very loving family, and a core group of friends that are at times my rock.
