Congratulations on your 2 years, I was looking at your stats and I am pretty close to where you began I was 276 however, I am 5'4" I see that I am making progress about how you were and it encourages me so much. Sometimes I feel like I am at a stand still at 5 months out but I see you lost small amounts at a time about like me and you are o radiant now. How exciting!!!! Take Care

Today is my 2-year anniversary from an Open RNY. I am 5'6" and 2 years ago weighed 288 pounds! Size 26/28. Today, I weigh 166 and wear a size 12 or 14, depending on the cut. I am healthy and happy - have had NO complications or problems. I have remained focused on protein - still drink a 4 oz protein drink every morning and I do not drink soda pop. I DO drink coffee and, unfortunately, can tolerate some sweets and fat (not TOO much, but enough to stall my weight loss sometimes). At some point I probably should consider a TT, arm lift, boob lift, and maybe even thighs -- but it's not enough for insurance to cover...so maybe I'll think about that next year. Although I was pretty miserable the few weeks immediately following surgery - and over the past two years I have overeaten to the point of making myself sick more times than I can tell you (including last Friday!), I never, ever have regretted having the surgery. It changed my life. It gave me my life back! Blessings to everyone both sides of surgery. Regards,
